I Love You, Mother Nature

Okay, so if you've looked at my photos within the past 10 minutes (which I'm guessing you probably haven't) you'll notice I have a new gallery entitled "I Love You, Mother Nature" So, the idea is that I'll post a nature-related photo every week or so (maybe more frequent, but I haven't really set a timetable for myself.) The idea popped in to my head when I realized that most of the pictures I take are nature-related anyhow. Go figure. So, basically I'm really psyched for this new project of mine on which I am about to embark. I hope you all enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoy taking them! :) Peace out. Elizabeth

*imagine title said in the whitest way possible* HELLOOOOOOOO! So, in my effort to not abandon you, I'm trying to post as many pictures/journals/comments/whatevers as often as I can. Pretty soon (I'm hoping later today) I'll be posting some pictures from my Christmas vacation to Philly, along with a couple of random pictures from my (NEW!) camera. Get pumped, guys. I'M SORRY FOR ABANDONING YOU!

SERIOUSLY! I haven't really been on at all since September, except to post a few pictures documenting my first days as a high school student. And those weren't even taken by me. They were by arianalena, but she didn't want them...how creative is that? But now it is 2009, and I'm hoping to be on here more often. I've been so preoccupied with facebook, which is odd, because there isn't really much to do except look at pictures of other people and wonder why you weren't invited places or why someone's wearing that stupid outfit. It's not exactly a scholarly way to spend time.... But I'm hoping to improve my photography skills (if you can even call them that) because I got a new camera for Christmas! Speaking of which, this holiday was an unusual one. I was going to go to France with my parents, but I got very sick the day of our flight. We had to cancel the trip, because postponing it would only cost us more money. Instead though, we went to Philadelphia and saw my cousin, whom I have not seen in about 3 years, which is really inexcusable considering she doesn't live THAT far away. We took a bus tour around the city, and went to see the Liberty Bell. It was a fantastic way to spend break. Take that, France. On New Year's Eve I went to dinner with my friend Tabitha. For years, we hated each other, even though we used to be inseparable. The beginning of high school was really a turning point in our relationship. Now, all we can talk about is how stupid our reasons were for disliking each other. It's great. I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season. Happy New Year. i have WAYYYYY too much time on my hands....

here are some of the pointless things i have done since school ended:

1.) i took pictures of myself....BLOWING BUBBLES! (origional, ain't it?)

2.) i cooked dinner....every night. last night it was spaghetti and "meat" balls from trader joe's. tonight i'm getting some relief because we're going to one of my favorite restaurants, vegetate.

3.) played with the dogs until yogi fell asleep on the couch (booboo, on the other hand, is STILL full of energy!)

4.) thought of the greatest thing ever.....SWEDISH FISH DIPPED IN NUTELLA! call me crazy, but i tastes AMAZING!

the greatest food is a combination of things you would never ordinarily think of. what's the greatest concoction you've ever created?
